OUR HISTORY

A-HOTSUN SAFARIS 2000 is a tour firm in Kenya, being operated by legitimate stakeholders in the tourism industry in the coast province of Malindi.

Started in 1995, the company is owned by indigenous Africans who earn their living through this industry, and who had worked in various tour firms. The company has a fleet of tour vans (6 mini-buses and 4 land cruisers), all of which are insured.

A-hotsun is proud of having worked with various types of clientele, who have recommended a lot of satisfaction after doing their safari. We have been working with a group of R.C.I for a period of six years until the hotel was closed in Malindi; and other international groups like ACME TRAVEL in Italy. We are working with some few leading hotels in Malindi, of which we organize safaris in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

The company is registered under the Government of Kenya’s Ministry of Tourism. We are a member of MALINDI ASSOCIATION OF TOUR OPERATORS and KENYA ASSOCIATION OF LOCAL TOUR OPERATORS.

TRANSPORT

Mini buses and land cruisers are provided as per booking, according to the route and driver/guide. All the vehicles are equipped with high frequency communication systems and their movements are controlled from the office.

ACCOMODATION

Based on one, two and three persons sharing one room in a tent or lodges where possible, and all rooms with private baths.

CANCELLATION

Any monies paid will be refundable less cost of cancellation fees levied by hotel, camps or other expenses.
