Voi Wildlife Lodge

Built in 2003 within the saddle of the Worsessa lookout, three miles inside Tsavo East, Voi Wildlife Lodge earns consistently strong reviews, guests regularly mention clean, spacious rooms and outstanding, friendly staff. With 88 rooms and three separate outdoor pools, one positioned to look directly out over a waterhole, it’s a larger, more amenity-rich property than most tented camps in the area.

The restaurant and bar sit close enough to the waterhole that dining and wildlife watching happen at the same time, elephants are a particularly common sight from the terrace. A spa, health club, and gift shop round out the facilities, along with meeting space for anyone combining a safari with business travel.

What to Expect

Game drives. Morning and afternoon drives into Tsavo East National Park, with your own driver guide throughout your stay.

Dining. Multiple on-site venues including the Mandhari Bar and Tembo restaurant, both with waterhole views.

Facilities. Three outdoor pools, a spa, health club, and meeting space, a genuinely broader amenity set than most Tsavo lodges.

Good for. Families and groups wanting real facilities alongside their safari, and guests who enjoy watching wildlife from the comfort of the lodge itself.
