You’ll be picked up early, spend the day on game drives across red dust plains known for large elephant herds, and be back at your hotel by evening. No overnight stay needed.

We pick you up before dawn directly from your hotel lobby, getting you to the park gates right as the sun comes up and the animals are most active. You will enjoy a full morning of private game viewing, a hot lunch overlooking the park, and an afternoon drive before heading back to the beach.

The route below is a guide. Game-drive times, stops and accommodation are tailored around your dates and selected park.

Day 1

Your Day in Tsavo East

Pickup from your hotel is at 4.30am, so the drive to the park starts while it’s still cool. We travel along the Sabaki River toward Tsavo East, entering through Sala Gate at around 7.30am.

Morning game drives run until midday, followed by lunch at Impala Lodge inside the park. After lunch, we continue with afternoon game drives on the route toward Bachuma Gate, leaving the park by 3.30pm.

You’ll arrive back at your coast hotel at around 5.30pm.
