Day 1

Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

Your safari starts with an early morning departure from Nairobi at around 6:00 am.

Travel north towards Samburu National Reserve and arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. After lunch, take some time to relax before heading out for an evening game drive.

Enjoy your first opportunity to see wildlife in the Samburu landscape before returning to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Full Day in Samburu

After breakfast, leave for a morning game drive in Samburu National Reserve.

Spend the morning exploring the reserve and looking for wildlife before returning to your lodge or camp for lunch.

After some time to relax, head out again for an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart Samburu at around 7:00 am and continue towards Lake Nakuru National Park.

Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and take some time to settle in.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in and around Lake Nakuru National Park before returning for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara

After breakfast, depart for the Maasai Mara at around 8:00 am.

Continue through the Kenyan countryside towards the Mara and arrive at your camp or lodge for lunch.

After lunch and a short rest, head out for an evening game drive in the Maasai Mara.

Return to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Full Day in Maasai Mara

After breakfast, head out for a morning game drive in the Maasai Mara, looking for lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffe and the plains game the reserve is known for.

Return to your camp or lodge for lunch and some time to relax. In the afternoon, head out again for a second game drive across the savannah, returning for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Maasai Mara to Nairobi

After an early breakfast, begin the drive back to Nairobi, with a break for lunch on the way.

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon or early evening, bringing your 6 day Kenya safari to an end.
