From the Samburu Special Five to the Big Five
This safari covers ground most trips don’t. Samburu, in Kenya’s arid north, is home to species found nowhere else in the country, the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich, known together as the Samburu Special Five. From there, the safari moves south to Lake Nakuru’s rhino sanctuary, then finishes with three nights in the Masai Mara, giving you two full days of game drives and an optional hot air balloon safari.
